Here’s a quick and easy breakfast idea that you can prepare the night before. This on-the-go healthy meal will allow you more time to get ready and will help prevent you from reaching for an unhealthy breakfast at the drive thru.

Berry & Walnut Overnight Oatmeal

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 cup regular rolled oats (certified gluten free)
1 1/4 cup unsweetened hemp milk (or other dairy free milk alternative)
1 scoop protein powder
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup walnuts (optional for those with allergies)
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Method:

Mix oats, hemp milk, hemp seeds, protein powder, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, stir.
Divide in 2-250ml glass jars and top or layer with berries and walnuts.
Store in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
